An excellent stay

Brilliant hotel in a great location. The hotel was clean and comfortable with excellent staff. We loved the fun, quirky decoration and our room with a view, complete with water, tea and nespresso machine. The hairdryer supplied was powerful as was the shower. We didn’t have breakfast but loved the communal areas in the hotel and convenience of the on site shop. The hotel is excellently located for Van Gogh museum and Anne Frank house. We found the attractions easily walkable.

Great for the price, good location

The room was very spacious with a good sized bed and everything was very clean. The staff were friendly and spoke great English. Location wise it was very central and we were able to walk to any of the major destinations from the hotel. The Ed has a quirky visual style but it's not overbearing, above it was comfortable and really well kept.

Shambolic

Although the hotel room it’s self was reasonable, (small and basic but served a purpose as a base) the breakfast, (€16 per day) was shambolic, with extremely limited options and barely any of the items from the menu actually available, do not pay extra for the breakfast

Good hotel

Very nice hotel. Close to everything, many restaurants, cafes, and entertainment nearby. Close to tram stops for easy travel around the city. Room and bathroom were clean and modern, although very warm and stuffy. I took one star off as we booked a standard double room and based on how the rooms were advertised online, we expected the bed to be accessible from both sides. However, when we got to our room, one side of the bed was actually against the wall. I thought we may have been given an economy double by mistake but when I enquired at reception, I was told that our room was definitely a standard double. The receptionist contradicted himself saying that standard doubles had a bed accessible from both sides and only economy rooms had the bed against the wall and when I reiterated that our bed was against the wall, he just insisted that our room was a standard. Overall, still a very good stay and I would stay again but I wouldn’t waste the money paying extra for a standard double whenever you might just be given a room that looks like an economy anyway.

I can fully recommend the hotel

+ Very comfortable bed, good room size, amazing and helpful staff, super cool design of the hotel and room, fridge in the room, easy check in &check out, air conditioning, location - very standard breakfast quite big pillows TV mainly in Dutch 9/10 I really recommend the hotel!
